Memphis Mayor Jim Strickland began law practice in 1989 focusing in many areas. He practices in State and Federal Court.
In 2007, Strickland was elected to the Memphis City Council. Before his partnership with David Kustoff, in 1998, he was with Glankler Brown, PLLC. From 1989-1990, he was clerk for Tennessee Supreme Court Justice William H.D. Fones. From 1989-1996, Strickland was an adjunct law professor at the University of Memphis. Jim and his spouse, Melyne, have two children.
